Tools and supplies to make this leather card holder.
First print out the Leather Card Holder Pattern and make a template.
Rub on some neatsfoot oil to make the leather more supple.
Also prep the flesh side (rough side) with leather finish gel.
Use the template to mark lines onto the leather and cut out the leather pieces.
Trimming the top edges of the flaps with an edge beveler.
Polish the edges to smooth with sandpaper.
Apply the edge finish gel and polish to bright.
Mark decorative lines with an edge creaser.
Oops! I didn’t realize my mistake until I am going to glue the leathers. I cut 3 same flaps, but actually one of should in the opposite side.
I cut another flap and go on (the top one is wrong).
Glue 3 pieces together, with 2 compartments.
Rough polish the edges.
Mark stitching lines.
Punch stitcing holes by following the lines.
Sewing with saddle stitching method.
Burnishing the edge.
Ok, a slim EDC card holder, not so bad?
